Welcome to S.T.F.D.
We are a "Paid On Call" fire department. S.T.F.D. protects 36 square
miles of rural, and residential areas.
Our Mission
Statement
To protect the
people of Sherwood Township from fire, Hazardous Material incidents,
water and ice disasters, and to aid in other rescue, in a timely
manor, and through on going training and education within the
department.

S.T.F.D.
has been awarded a grant from
F.E.M.A. for the amount of 53,055.00. This funding will go for
15 new S.C.B.A., and a Thermal Imaging Camera.
